This course will address the potential ethical challenges facing mediators in the family and civil arenas from accepting a case to capturing the agreement. Each mediator standard will be featured and dissected in a case study reflective of actual scenarios encountered by mediators. Topics include:
- Mediator standards overview
- Ethical Landmines in Mediation
- Case studies of ethical issues in civil mediation
- Ramifications of the Willingboro Mall case
- Case consultations
