Current Issues Regarding Waivers, Criminal Matters, and Ethics When Representing Immigrants

This program will cover current issues in immigration law, including:

- I-601A waivers for unlawful presence, U visas, etc.
- immigration consequences of criminal convictions in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania
- ethical considerations when dealing with immigrant clients

The speakers will also discuss common pitfalls and mistakes made by immigration practitioners and non-immigration practitioners in dealing with immigrants and their particular issues. This program will give practical tips to non-immigration lawyers that are thinking about expanding their practice to serving immigrants.
