Cheers to a new year!
We currently offer webinars - synchronous (live), online learning programs - only.
Changes to CLE Requirements:
New Jersey new CLE requirement effective January 1, 2021: the number of total ethics and professionalism credits required during a compliance-reporting period will increase from four to five credit hours and must include at least two credit hours of coursework in diversity, inclusion, and elimination of bias.
The New Jersey Supreme Court suspended the attorneys' requirement of live classroom instruction for continuing legal education. Until further order of the Court, all twenty-four credit hours for the compliance period may be fulfilled through approved courses offered in alternative verifiable learning formats.
The New York State CLE Board changed newly admitted attorneys Skills CLE format requirements and permits participation by webconference, teleconference, and videoconference through June 30, 2021.
On December 23, 2020, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania issued an Order permitting attorneys the ability to complete their 2021 compliance requirements with twelve (12) credits earned through accredited distance learning programming. PA CLE is in the process of updating its database to reflect this change on attorney transcripts. Attorneys may check their MyPACLE account for updates. With this Order:
- Attorneys may complete all twelve (12) of their CLE credits for 2021 compliance deadlines through participation in accredited distance learning programming.
- In accordance with adopted CLE Board policy:
- Online programs conducted live in a synchronous learning environment will be treated as traditional credits and,
- Pre-recorded/Asynchronous distance learning credits taken in excess of twelve (12) during 2021 compliance periods will not carry forward towards future annual compliance deadlines
