The speakers will discuss the causes and impacts of childhood and adult trauma, how trauma might impact our client representations, and the techniques and approaches that can enable us as lawyers to more effectively represent clients who have experienced trauma. The program will also discuss how our own trauma, and vicarious trauma, can impact our lawyering and how to address the potential for vicarious trauma and burn-out in a healthy way.
