Fundamentals of New Jersey Residential Real Estate Closings

This program will provide a primer on handling residential real estate closings in New Jersey from the perspective of the buyer, seller and title agent. From attorney review to post-closing, attendees will gain a basic understanding of how to conduct a residential closing while avoiding some of the common pitfalls. This program can be used toward the New Jersey newly admitted attorney requirement.
FACULTY:
EDNA Y. BAUGH, ESQ., a founding member of Stephens & Baugh, LLC, in Maplewood, is Assistant Director of Clinic Administration at Rutgers School of Law–Newark. She is a trustee of the Essex County Bar Association and is a member of the ECBA Real Property Committee.
JOHN R. DUSINBERRE, ESQ., a solo practitioner in Fairfield, was formerly a partner at Mandelbaum, Salsburg, Gold, Lazris, Discenza & Steinberg, PC. Dusinberre focuses on land use, community associations and real estate transactions. He has been the North Caldwell Planning Board attorney since 2003. A former Essex County Bar Association trustee, Dusinberre currently serves as the vice chair of the ECBA Real Property Committee.
ANTHONY FLORIA-CALLORI, ESQ., office counsel at Prestige Title Agency, joined the agency in 2006. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and focuses primarily on complex title review and commercial lending. Floria-Callori serves as the chair of the ECBA Real Property Committee.
