This program focuses on Intellectual Property Law for non-IP practitioners looking for a foundation in IP in order to identify IP issues in their practice or for establishing an Intellectual Property component to their practice, as well as any attorneys seeking an overview of this important practice area. Lawyers often consider Intellectual Property (Copyrights, Trademarks, Patents, Trade Secrets) the domain of specialized boutique firms, but aspects of this practice area can arise in other contexts or can readily be incorporated into other practice areas.

JOHN R. KETTLE, III
Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Intellectual Property Law Clinic at Rutgers School of Law-Newark
Professor Kettle previously served as counsel to Stryker, Tams & Dill LLP, and was associated with the Prudential Insurance Company of America. He is a former chair of the New York State Bar Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section and former chair of the New Jersey State Bar Entertainment & Arts Law Committee. His publications have been in the areas of intellectual property, and entertainment, arts, and sports law.
