Through examination of recent decisions concerning marriage equality, land use, executive power and judicial pensions, as well as others developments relating to judicial independence, the panel will examine the divergence between federal and state constitutional law, the interplay between federal and state constitutional law and the institutional context that the New Jersey Supreme Court operates within.
