Fundamentals of New Jersey Residential Landlord-Tenant Practice

New and seasoned practitioners alike will benefit from this broad overview of landlord-tenant practice in New Jersey. New Jersey's two summary dispossession statutes will be covered in depth, along with applicable federal and local laws. Topics include:

* Special Civil Part practice and procedure, including pre- and post-trial issues.
* Habitability and related claims
* Subsidized housing, including Section 8 vouchers
* Discrimination
Faculty:William R. McLaughlin, Esq., is the Managing Attorney for the Prisoner Reentry Project at Rutgers School of Law – Camden. Mr. McLaughlin previously worked at South Jersey Legal Services, where he counseled and represented clients in a variety of residential landlord/tenant disputes.
