This program will provide an introduction to residential landlord-tenant practice in New Jersey.
Newly admitted and seasoned practitioners alike will benefit from this program. In addition to the law and important procedures, you will learn practical strategies and techniques to handle landlord-tenant disputes.
Topics include:
* Anti-Eviction Act, N.J.S.A. 2A:18-61.1
* Procedure for non-payment and other grounds
* Notice requirements
* Acceptance of Rent
* Trial preparation
* Warrant of removal and abandoned property
NJ CLE Information: This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 4.0 hours of total CLE credit. This program also qualifies for NJ newly admitted CLE credit.
