This conference will feature two nationally prominent speakers, Professor Steven Drizin of the Northwestern University School of Law, and Professor Keith Cruise of the Fordham University Department of Psychology. Professor Drizin will speak about his work on juvenile interrogations and false confessions and his representation of Brendan Dassey, one of the subjects of the Netflix series "Making a Murderer." Professor Cruise will speak about his research program on mental health and trauma screenings in the juvenile justice system.
