Exporting the War on Terror: Islamophobia in Asia
Wednesday, January 27, 2021 | 12:00 PM EDT - 1:00 PM EDT
This webinar will feature a fireside chat with Law Professors Khaled Beydoun and Sahar Aziz who will address the ways in which anti-Muslim bias in Asia extends to discrimination and civil rights violations of Muslims and Asians in the United States. Lawyers who represent clients with ties to India or China need to have the cultural competency to understand the political context of these countries with regard to the state's mistreatment of their Muslim minorities.
