New Requirement for NJ Newly Admitted effective January 1, 2024
Newly admitted New Jersey attorneys required to meet the newly admitted attorney requirement must take 16 total credits in a minimum of 6 New Jersey new admit subject areas. A minimum of one credit must be taken in New Jersey attorney trust & business accounting fundamentals.

Financial Hardship Policy
We are strongly committed to professional development and seek to make our programs affordable to attorneys. When possible, we will provide a reduced tuition, tuition waiver or scholarship to attorneys who demonstrate financial hardship. Requests should be made prior to the program date by email to ipe@law.rutgers.edu.
Distance Learning Information
All our Zoom webinars and meetings are live-online and fully interactive, where questions are allowed during the program.
Diversity, Inclusion, and Elimination of Bias (DIEB) credits are currently NOT reflected separate from ethics credits on this website. Please read the program description or download the program announcement for the correct breakdown of credits.
Rutgers Law School has been granted Approved Service Provider status by the Supreme Court of New Jersey Board on Continuing Legal Education, and Accredited Provider status by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board. In addition, these programs qualify for New York CLE credit pursuant to the New York Approved Jurisdiction policy.
