This symposium provides the latest information regarding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy and examines its legal, political, and social landscape, including the most recent court decision (September 2023) that held the DACA Final Rule unlawful. The panels will include leading voices in the national conversation on immigration and DACA recipients. They will address the impact of DACA on current recipients, families, communities, and people of color and will explore legal and policy strategies for the future of DACA.
