The essence of Democracy is an informed electorate. This timely program is about the important role of the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) to ensure the integrity of the financial aspects of the State's electoral process. ELEC monitors the campaign financing of all public elections in the State, whether the election is for school board, fire district, municipality, county, mayor, member of the legislature, or governor. Learn about the ELEC, state election laws, compliance, enforcement, penalties, and how to avoid and defend common violations.
