Rutgers Institute for Professional Education and Volunteer Lawyers for Justice invite you to attend this program on the basics of child support cases in New Jersey, including a review of federal and state case law.
The program, specifically geared towards non-family law attorneys, will include an overview of the child support system as well as practical tips from the bench. The session will also provide step-by-step instructions for filing motions, modifications and otherwise navigating the family court process.

• Drafting motions
• Timelines and court processes
• Children with disabilities
• Modifications
• Emancipation
• Arrearages
• Client interviews
FEE WAIVED FOR ATTORNEYS WHO AGREE TO TAKE ONE FULL REPRESENTATION CASE OR WHO VOLUNTEER AT TWO LIMITED SCOPE LEGAL CLINICS OVER THE NEXT YEAR. If you intend to volunteer, please bring your registration confirmation to the program and the fee waiver will be processed when you sign in.
