Hot Topics in 2017: Ethically Representing Big Corporations and Small Businesses: Current ethical issues that lawyers representing businesses need to be aware of, including alternative fee arrangements, conflicting joint or other representations, best practices in documenting client representation, privilege questions, and how to deal with employees who are co-defendants or key witnesses.
Current Happenings in Global Corporate Compliance: Outside counsel and in-house compliance.
eDiscovery: Methods and systems for ESI (electronically stored information) compliance by applying rules and case law to fact-based exercise scenarios and case studies.
Social Media Evidence at Trial: Emerging trends in social media, including how to authenticate and introduce social media evidence at trial and how to address hearsay use of the ESI.
