Ethical Issues in Electronic Discovery, Social Media and the Cloud

Electronic discovery, social media and the Cloud have each brought with them new challenges involving such wide-ranging issues as attorney competence, client communications, and storage, search and production of vast amounts of electronically stored information (“ESI”), to name but a few. This symposium will explore some of the complex ethical questions that can arise when attorneys seek to communicate, advertise or investigate facts using these new technologies, and when ESI is collected, searched and used as evidence in litigation.

Sponsored by RUTGERS COMPUTER AND TECHNOLOGY LAW JOURNAL and Rutgers Institute for Professional Education.
