Wills for Heroes Training

This training is designed to provide the basics of drafting a simple will, power of attorney documents, and living wills. The Wills for Heroes pro bono program serves first responders (police, fire, EMT), healthcare workers, veterans, and military members (active or retired) and their spouses/partners. Topics and sample forms include, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. This training is open to all lawyers and CLE credit is available.
The next Wills for Heroes pro bono program is in person on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Parsippany, New Jersey. By participating, you'll have the chance to give back to those who selflessly serve our communities. Attorneys must be actively licensed in New Jersey and complete this training. The CLE fee is waived for volunteers. While experience in will drafting is a plus, it is not required for an attorney to volunteer.
